Located in the small village of Santa Catarina de Sítimos, with a known human occupation since the 1st century A.C. , near the ancient port city of Alcácer do Sal, 30 minutes from the Alentejo coast and 50 minutes from Lisbon.
The farm, family-owned for more than five generations, stretches southward, presenting a diversity of environments from north to south: rice fields, olive groves, pasture, holm and cork tree “montado” and woods.
The agricultural project is based on three main ideas: - safeguarding and maintaining the productive landscape (rice fields, olive groves, pasture, and montado), as well as all existing vegetation; - preserving and expanding the existing olive grove area; - establishing a vegetable garden and orchard.
